I’m a full-stack developer with four years of experience in the field. During this time, I’ve collaborated with major telecom companies across the MENA region, including STC, Vodafone, and Mobily. I’ve led a front-end team, developed multiple microservices, and built large-scale applications used by millions of users.

My core expertise lies in React and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience in AWS environments and tools like Elasticsearch and Kafka. I’m a strong team player who values collaboration, efficiency, and building solutions that make a real impact. I’m also passionate about clean code and improving performance to deliver seamless user experiences.

Hi, I'm Ertuğrul Şentürk. I'm a senior full-stack software engineer and former medical doctor with a passion for building technology that makes a meaningful impact.

My journey began in medicine, where I learned to solve problems under pressure, think analytically, and deeply understand human needs. Over time, I realized my fascination with systems and data extended far beyond healthcare. It was about how intelligent, well-designed software could empower people everywhere.

That curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering at Yıldız Technical University and later a Master's in Computer Science at the University of Rochester in the United States.

Over the past few years, I've worked on large-scale software systems for leading telecom companies in the MENA region, including STC, Vodafone, and Mobily. I've led a front-end team, developed multiple microservices, and contributed to applications used by millions of users.

My core expertise lies in React and Spring Boot, supported by hands-on experience with AWS, Elasticsearch, and Kafka. I enjoy designing systems that are not only scalable but also elegant and efficient — software that just feels right.

I'm deeply interested in the intersection of technology, intelligence, and human experience. Through my academic and professional work, I've explored deep learning, data-driven interfaces, and human–computer interaction.

Outside of work, I love experimenting — refining new UI ideas, training machine-learning models, or mentoring developers to help them grow their confidence and creativity. I believe great engineering is driven not just by skill, but by empathy, collaboration, and curiosity.

Today, my focus is on crafting high-performance, end-to-end solutions that merge thoughtful design with solid engineering. My path from medicine to computer science has shown me that technology, when built with empathy, can heal, connect, and transform — and that's the impact I aim for in every project.
